What is a custom championship belt?

Zees Belts makes each one to order, starting from a minimum order of 1 belt. These are original custom designs for your league or event, not official or licensed brand belts.
What size should a full-size belt be?
A standard full-size championship belt has a strap length of 50 to 52 inches. The main center plate is roughly 10 to 12 inches wide and 8 to 10 inches tall. The side plates are about 4 to 6 inches tall and 3 to 5 inches wide. Expect a finished weight of about 5 to 9 pounds, so choose the material with the wearer and the display in mind.
Which material is right: brass, zinc, CNC or 24K gold?
The plate material changes the weight, the detail and the lead time:
- Brass: a solid, heavy feel and a classic look. See the brass championship belts. Production is 3 to 5 business days.
- Zinc and 24K gold plated: sharp detail and a bright finish. See the 24K gold championship belts. Production is about 5 business days.
- CNC: machined plates for clean edges and precise engraving. See the CNC championship belts. Production is about 10 business days.

Gold, dual or nickel plating?
Three platings are offered: gold, dual (gold plus nickel) and nickel. Gold gives the traditional title look. Nickel gives a silver, modern look. Dual is a good choice when you want the center plate to stand out against the side plates.
What do I need to send for the design?
Send your logo as a jpg, png, pdf, webp, psd or ai file, plus the exact text for the plates, the plate sizes you want, the leather color and the plating. We prepare a digital proof for you to check. Small color and material variations are normal, and changes after written approval can add cost or time, or may not be possible. Check the proof carefully before you approve it.
How long will my order take?
Add production time to shipping time. Brass is 3 to 5 business days, zinc and 24K gold about 5, and CNC about 10. Shipping is free in the USA and Canada, and we also ship to other countries. If you have a fixed event date, order early and tell us the date when you start your design.
